Oli stresses on change–oriented activity for saving country

He called for institutional and individual contribution for protecting children’s right rather than reliance on government’s sole contribution. On the occasion, Oli conferred the National Child Rights Award to Agatha Thapa, a campaigner for children’s primary development. CPN (UML) lawmaker, Rameshwor Funyal, emphasized on implementing the children’s rights which is enshrined in the constitution as a fundamental right. At the program, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) acting Chairman, Prakash Wosti, launched the campaign ‘Love is our right’ introduced by Child Nepal. Chairman, KP Sharma Oli, today stressed on need to become change-oriented rather than being publicity driven for saving the country. Inaugurating the 12th General Assembly of Child Nepal, a non-government organisation working on child rights, former PM Oli said people from all walks of life should join hands for building the country. He urged all to work for change rather than being publicity oriented.
