In course of monitoring, the team found bottled water to be of poor quality and existence of a stinking toilet quite close to the processing plant, among others.A government monitoring team has sealed Matatirtha Spring Mineral Water Company based in Kanchan Vasti, Chandragiri municipality-12. The company produces Royal brand mineral water. The team directed company officials to present themselves before the Department of Supplies Management within three days with a clarification upon finding that the company had not bothered to maintain quality of water despite a warning issued a month ago.
