Following Dhakal’s address, lawmakers of opposition parties including those of CPN-UML rose from their seats. Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar repeatedly asked the lawmakers to take their seats but they refused. Opposition parties have been obstructing almost all the parliament meeting since December 1. They allowed the meeting to run on Tuesday to endorse the condolence motion on former lawmaker Buddha Ratna Manandhar.The meeting has been postponed for 1 pm Thursday. Opposition parties obstructed the parliament meeting on Wednesday.Speaking at the beginning of the meet, Nepal Pariwar Dal Chairman Eknath Dhakal said the meeting will be obstructed until the amendment proposal is withdrawn. Dhakal also expressed his dissatisfaction over the delay to announce election date.
