Four years old little boy Aditya Dahal from Chabahil, Kathmandu. He is also known as Nepali Google Boy. Aditya is different than the normal child of his age. Aditya was a normal baby till he was two and a half. Then, he lost his ability of normal speech and movement. 1. Due to his disability, his parents never thought of admitting him into school as he can neither talk nor even sit without help from others. 2. Beating women in foreign country

Chandidal Battalion’s Karna Bahadur Basnet stood first with a timing of an hour, 17 minutes and 25 seconds, followed by Keshav Acharya and Biswas Baniya who completed the 21-kilometres distance in an hour and 19 minutes and an hour and 22 minutes respectively. Basnet will take home Rs 50,000 along with a certificate while the second and third runners-up will receive Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 along with certificates respectively. There were a total number of 25 participants from Sindhuli, Ramechhap, Nuwakot, including one woman from Bhaktapur. The Chandidal Battalion was crowned the winner of the first-ever Sindhuligadhi Open Half Marathon Competition held on Wednesday. The Kalamati Municipality of Sindhuligadhi organized the Open Half Marathon for promotion of tourism in historical Sindhuligadhi.

PM PRACHANDA ONE REPORT

He said the UML, which is in the opposition bench in parliament, can oppose the amendment proposal but nobody becomes a nationalist by obstructing the parliament. PM Dahal stated that discussions were on to remove the parliament obstruction while regretting that important works as election-related bills and deliberations on the impeachment motion against the suspended chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) could not be forwarded due to the House stalling. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed the confidence the constitution amendment proposal the government has registered in the Parliament will be passed. “The constitution cannot be implemented by negating the Madhesis, Tharus and the indigenous nationalities. The constitution amendment proposal should be passed to make the constitution as the common constitution of all,” the Prime Minister declared while speaking at the inauguration of the Daraundi ‘A’ small hydropower project at Muchchok in Gorkha district today. Stating that the Province Number 5 is being delineated by incorporating the Tarai districts as per the proposal signed by Nepali Congress then president the late Sushil Koirala and the CPN (UML) chairman KP Sharma Oli, he said the present constitution amendment proposal brought by the government was in line with that proposal.

The Victims’ Trust Fund has one primary objective: to provide the opportunity for people from all walks of life including governments, the private sector, international organizations, NGOs and individuals to work together to provide practical and effective solutions to assist victims of human trafficking across the globe. At any given time, millions of people are trapped in modern-day slavery through human trafficking. Women, children and men across the globe find themselves being enslaved in forced labour and domestic servitude, sexually exploited or used as child soldiers. According to the United Nations Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, human trafficking is defined as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation includes, at the minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of other or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs. Human Trafficking has become a global enterprise affecting nearly ever country in the world. It is a crime that shames us all. Sadly, indications point toward most trafficked persons as never being formally identified – a cruel twist which denies them assistance when they most critically need it. In a bid to provide help and support to those most affected, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has launched the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking.
